Chief Executive Officer
Hey there, I'm Robyn K. Butler, CPA
FounderRobyn Butler, a Detroit native, is an accountant, author and wife. Robyn’s excitement for MACRS lies in her passion for financial literacy, and desire to make accounting finance less intimidating for minorities. That along with her daughter, inspired her first book, "Let's Be Fair", a children's book dedicated to introducing elementary aged students to financial and social responsibility. Robyn is currently a member of the Intuit Partner Council, and the AICPA Exam Review Board. She received her bachelors and masters of accounting degrees from The University of Michigan, and Eastern Michigan University, respectively.
Her experience includes internal and external auditing, and she also obtained a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma. Robyn has been recognized by the AICPA and MICPA as an Emerging Leader, and was a member of the Michigan Chronicle 40 under 40. Through MACRS, Robyn is really excited to realize a CPA profession that is more representative of the world we live in, today! As the Chief Operating Officer, Robyn's hope is to create pathways that are easily accessible for minority students.
